The Indian River Marina is home to Delaware’s premier charter fishing fleet. With direct access to the ocean and all the hottest fishing grounds, our experienced captains will provide you with an outstanding day of fishing. Our head boat, the Judy V., offers 4-hour and 8-hour excursions specializing in inshore bottom fishing – bring your own rod, or include a rod rental with your reservation.

Charter Boats

The Indian River Marina’s 294-slip floating dock system, which includes water, 30- or 50-amp service (dependent on slip size) and a dock box, all of which is included in the slip rental. The marina also provides dock carts to transport your boat supplies from your vehicle to your boat, and back. We offer 25-, 35-, 45- and 50-foot slips for the season, year-round, or a combined annual contract which includes wet slip dockage for the season and discounted winter haul out and storage.

For the transient boater, we have slips for daily, weekly and monthly rental. Please contact the marina office for reservations.

The Indian River Marina’s floating fuel dock is conveniently located just inside the mouth of the Marina’s basin (38.37 N Latitude / 75.04 W longitude).

The Marina carries the following fuel:

• 89 mid-grade gasoline, E-10 ethanol blend
• Red dyed ultra-low sulfur diesel

The marina honors the Boat US fuel discount of 10 cents per gallon with a valid Boat US card presented at the time of purchase. Courteous attendants are on duty to help with re-fueling.

The Indian River Marina’s Boat Supply Store offers everything you need for your boating excursion in the back bays or the ocean, from boating safety supplies to maintenance and repair items.

The ship store is conveniently located adjacent to the boat ramps and the dry storage building.

The boat ramp offers:

• Designated truck and trailer parking
• Courtesy dock for loading and unloading passengers and supplies
• 24-hour access to the Indian River and Rehoboth Bays, or the Atlantic Ocean
• Seasonal shuttle service from satellite trailer parking lots to the ramp during busy times to get you out on the water as quickly as possible (summer only)

Boats that are not registered in the state of Delaware will be required to have the current Ramp Certificate required by the Division of Fish and Wildlife. There is no fee for boats registered in Delaware.

The Indian River Marina keeps your boat high and dry out of the weather, avoiding the hassles of bottom painting and long ramp lines. Dry storage features 156 indoor racks, accommodations for vessels up to 35′, indoor sprinkler system, state-of-the-art security, and the boat yard is equipped with two Marina Bull fork lifts and a 50-ton Wiggins Travel Lift for launching and retrieving vessels for service or storage. The services included in the Dry Rack Contract include one launch and retrieval per day along with a power wash to the bottom of the boat and the engine flushed before it is returned to the rack or to an outside bunk for maintenance or up keep.
