Cape Henlopen Park
Swim in the ocean, bike relaxing paths amid the dunes, forests and historical sites, and explore all 7,000 acres of Cape Henlopen State Park! Located where the Delaware Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean, Cape Henlopen offers a unique combination of natural wonders and cultural history. Discover the beauty and diversity of Cape Henlopen's coastal environment, encompassing ocean and bay beaches, maritime forests, and tidal salt marshes.
Delaware Seashore
Hike the iconic Indian River Inlet bridge, explore maritime history, have a beach day, or enjoy sunset while dining at one of two seasonal restaurants – it’s all possible at Delaware Seashore State Park! Located within walking distance of the Atlantic Ocean and Rehoboth and Indian River bays, the park’s two campgrounds are popular with campers seeking a beach experience. The campgrounds are located on the north and south side of the Indian River Inlet and are connected by a bridge with a protected walking and biking path.
Killens Pond
Enjoy the experience of being in a secluded forest environment, but with plenty to do throughout the park! Fish or paddle the pond, get your rush at the Killens Pond Waterpark, learn more at the nature center and so much more.
Lums Pond
This recently-renovated campground is recommended as the best RV park in Delaware by Reader’s Digest. Fish or paddle on Delaware’ largest body of freshwater, soar to new heights at the Go Ape! Adventure Park, explore miles of trails or use your site as a launching point to visit 9 other state parks within 30 minutes!
Trap Pond
Called the most scenic campsite in Delaware by Reader’s Digest, you can camp amid towering loblolly pines with views of the baldcypress and pond. Trap Pond is a beloved campground with over 142 sites tucked in mature forest. Bike a circuit around the park, paddle or fish the pond, and explore the nature center and trails. Take advantage of unique educational programs and activities, like a pontoon tour of the baldcypress swamp, during your stay!
