Delaware State Parks has 2 marinas that boaters can choose from for their boating adventures. One in New Castle county located in Lums Pond State Park, and the other in Sussex county, located in Delaware Seashore State Park.

Summit North Marina

Summit North Marina

Located within Lums Pond State Park, Summit North Marina offers access to both the Chesapeake Bay to the west and the Delaware River and Atlantic Ocean to the east via the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal. Amenities and services include a 300-slip floating dock system for slip holders and transients, gas and diesel pumps, 24/7 security, dining and entertainment at our on-site restaurant, Grain H2O, new boat sales and yacht brokerage, shower, head and laundry facilities; and a seasonal outdoor pool for slipholders.

Indian River Marina

Indian River Marina

Indian River Marina, Delaware’s largest, is a destination for boaters seeking direct access to the rich Atlantic Ocean and inland bays fishing grounds. The marina boasts 294 slips with a floating dock system and 154 spots for indoor dry boat storage. A monitored public boat ramp with shuttle service to parking is available in the summer. It also serves as a waterfront event space with beautiful sunset views. Hook’em & Cook’em offers full-service bait and tackle along with fish cleaning and an on-site fresh seafood market. Dockside Marina Bar and Grill is a lively restaurant with a boat bar and live entertainment. Twelve rental cottages overlook the Indian River Inlet while the Burton Island Trail offers hikers a quiet stroll along the water and through the woods.
